Lets get it right!

You are the best person to specify what property you require. The better the description you give the happier you will be with your replies from our group e-mail to the Letting Agents. We don't want you to receive loads of inappropriate particulars and it is not fair to waste the letting agent's time and money on incorrect information about your requirements.

We advise that you consider the following factors plus additional items that you might not initially think of. Make it clear what is critical and what is flexible.

Who you are:
e.g. A single person from Milton Keynes on a 6 month secondment with Ford.
e.g. Young working couple not intending to buy a property for years.
Price range: How much within £50 per month do you want to spend? Bear in mind you get what you pay for!
Status: When do you need to be in? How long a 'Let' do you need or wish to commit to? Do you have references?
Style of Property: House, flat, bungalow, terrace etc
Accommodation requirements: furnished/unfurnished, bedrooms, reception, kitchen, kitchen/diner, utility, garaging, garden.
Area requirements: Districts preferred, definite no go areas, N,S,E,W, preferences, estate position, non-estate, in town, outskirts, country situation.
Facilities: Schools, shops, sport, parks.
Pets: Do you have pets?

I am a single female university lecturer needing a one bedroom furnished flat near the University or on a bus route. I do not want a bedsit and do need a garage. I can pay about £425 per month but would pay slightly more for the right property. I will sign a 6 month agreement but may stay up to 2 years. Term starts on 15th next month.
